Software Intern

- Led and completed a full stack project in C# and C++ which improved trader’s ability to trade options effectively, with features rolled into production by the end of my internship.
- Developed a functioning autotrader in C++ which connected to real market data and traded against other entities on a simulated market with risk mechanisms in place. Methodologies employed include multi-level quoting, and mechanisms to flatten and retreat.

In partnership with CreateOps, YTech hosts events that bring industry and secondary schools together to one place at one time to foster connection between the technological leaders of today and tomorrow. Following the success of their events such as ‘YTech: Walking on Mars’ and ‘AI: The World of Tomorrow’, YTech NZ continues to provide insight into STEM pathways and hopes to expand nationwide in the future — particularly to rural and underrepresented communities.
